There are some trips you book because they make sense… And then there are the ones you book because you cannot stop thinking about them.
This is one of those.
In May, we are boarding a Seabourn ship and heading north. Past the usual cruise routes, past the familiar ports, and into Norway… and then even further, across the Arctic Circle.
It still feels a little unreal to say that.
I have been lucky enough to visit a lot of places over the years, but somehow Norway has never been one of them. This trip will change that and mark my 40th country, which feels like a milestone worth doing in a way that is truly memorable.
And this itinerary does exactly that.
There is something different about traveling this far north. The landscapes become quieter, more dramatic. The light lingers in a way that makes time feel slower. It is not just about where you are going, but how it feels to be there.
And we will have two full weeks to take it all in.
That is one of the things I am most looking forward to. Not rushing. Not skimming the surface. Actually settling into the rhythm of the journey, both on board and in each destination.

It is about small coastal towns in Norway that most people never see. It is about sailing through scenery that feels untouched. It is about waking up each day somewhere completely different, but never feeling hurried.
